What happens when the people meant to be investigating the worst crimes in the county are the ones who are perpetrating them? A local news reporter finds that out the hard way.

In Whitley County, Kentucky, the drug ring is running rampant, and it would seem the local sheriff's office is doing everything it can to curb it, until a young reporter for the local newspaper exposes the work it's doing just outside the law and pays deeply for it.
